Mexican tile history began in the late 16th Century when potters from the Spanish city of Talavera de la Reina settled in Puebla, a two hour drive east of Mexico City.

Today, talavera ceramics are found throughout the country, but the finest ceramic tiles are concentrated in and around Puebla, where nearly all of our products are sourced.

Compared to other Mexican tile imports our ceramic tiles possess a vibrance of color, a delicacy of detail, and visible textures that comes from hand painting. Each Mexican tile is its own work of art. For installations where resistance to freezing weather and possible high impacts on the tile bodies, our clay body Talavera products are an option, providing a more authentic rustic look to an installation.

These ceramic tiles come in a number of styles ranging from basic solid colors and traditional designs of the classic group to baroque, colonial, and even special designs.

Bathroom Mexican tile from Latin Accents is a unique way to decorate, and can be used for walls, showers, sinks, floors, and more. Mix and match our Talavera tile designs to create a truly unique guest bathroom, or use our designs as backsplash tile in your kitchen for a decorative and easy-to-clean surface. Our Talavera tile can also be used as floor tile accents throughout your home, creating a unique Latin feel.

Browse our designs by style or product type. We offer a variety of molded pieces for a truly polished look, and house numbers to represent your design sense in one of the most important places in your home.
